This opalised Cretaceous fossil was mined by us on the Dead Horse Gully field of Coober Pedy Australia.

WEIGHT: 10 carats, weighed dry.

DIMENSIONS: Approx: 21 mm by 19 mm by 6 mm.

The best colour has been polished on the underside of this piece leaving beautiful fossil definition on the other side. .

This piece could possibly yield a few carats of lovely opal but is probably best left as a specimen.

The color variations in some photos are due to different light angles and distances. All of our auctions are photographed with macro settings under a halogen lamp. In some photo's the opal is immersed in water.
